Home away from home, this comfortable suite is designed to make you feel like you're staying with friends in the country. A sitting area and kitchenette offer some of the comforts of home including a dining room table with place for four. We'd be delighted to provide for all your kitchen essentials on request. In the ensuite bathroom you'll enjoy the luxury of one of the hotel's original roll top baths. The king-sized bed can easily be converted into twin beds.

If you're travelling with family you can make use of an interleading door to neighbouring 'Autumn', a twin room.

The furniture in this spacious room was crafted by our own joinery using the original yellowwood beams salvaged from the old roof. Gentle autumn colours, the worn old floorboards and a skylight over the shower make this twin bedroom something special. 'Autumn' adjoins the 'Summer' suite to create perfect family accommodation.

Add a little daring to your next stay at The Duke. Choose 'Winter' for its black floral wallpaper and many shades of grey. Comfortable extra-length twin beds can be converted into a king bed on request and, like all our seasons rooms, double doors lead onto the balcony for a view of our bustling small town.

Possibly our most popular room, 'Spring' offers romance! Duck egg-blue wisteria wallpaper, the original roll top bath, white-washed floors and dreamy curtains set the perfect scene for a romantic mini-break. There's a queen-sized bed, vintage painted furniture and the sense of history around you.

Furnished with character pieces discovered at Wexford Farm in Cathcart, this charming twin room has a large bathroom with walk-in shower and double doors opening onto the balcony.
