Bedford Wine Festival 2024

Now in its third year, the Bedford Wine Festival is sure to attract many new visitors to Bedford. What makes our wine tasting so special is the personal touch; wine makers set aside the weekend and travel from the Western Cape to mingle and chat to wine lovers from around our province.

We have the opportunity to discover excellent wines which we don’t often see on the shelves in our local stores. There’s food stalls and The Apprentice deli and The Duke of Bedford pull out all the stops to create superb mini dishes designed to pair with the wines on offer. This is a wonderful event on the social calendar.

Bedford Country Gardens 2024

For over twenty years the Bedford Country Gardens have delighted visitors from all around the country. Despite years of drought and difficult conditions the dedicated gardeners have work hard to maintain and improve their incredibly high standards.

Even our most regular visitors will tell you there’s always something new to see in every garden, year after year. The long established gardens have transformed this year with all the recent rain we’ve had in the district. Come and see what Bedford Country Gardens, our beautiful countryside and our thriving little town looks like now! You may just be inspired to do something new in your garden.
